How to improve conversions of your SEO campaign

There are 5 important factors that you need to consider to improve conversions of your SEO campaign. Though there are other many advanced tactics and techniques that you need to learn, these five fundamentals of SEO are considered the root of all SEO activity.

1) Keywords

This is the most significant underlying factor that contributes to your search rank. You should identify the high-impact keywords for your site and incorporate them to your site’s pages in a way that is both friendly to search engines and real site visitors.

Building a list of targeted keywords and phrases obtained from research and analysis is also critical because it is a much more effective approach than having a very long list of words and simply inserting them into your code and copy.

2) Content

The targeted keywords you gathered should be placed on the pages of your site to achieve good keyword density. You should also have enough content pages to rank high on search engines. For example, a typical B2B website should have at least 100 to 500 pages of content to be listed on the top results.

3) Meta content ang tags

Title tags are given great importance by search engine spiders and the meta description found just below the page title link is what the user sees on the search results pages and this gives an idea to the users about your site.

4) URL path

Placing a relevant keyword or two in the url is a big advantage. That includes having keywords throughout a URL in subfolders and page names. The age of a top-level domain also plays a role in search rankings.

5) Inbound links

Getting quality links from other highly regarded pages and websites that are relevant to your business can have a huge impact on your rankings. Pages with competitive keywords would require more links compared to pages with less competitive keywords.
